Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with multiple businesses to prepare their accounts in Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
  • Reconcile accounts in line with client agreements
  • Enter bills and receipts, schedule and process supplier payments
  • Prepare Australian compliance reporting such as Business Activity Statements (BAS), or Superannuation Guarantee Charge (SGC) statements
  • Reconcile balance sheets including inter-company assets and loans
  • Review accounts to assess business performance, and prepare management reports
  • Communicate directly with clients over the phone and through email to get things done
  • Stay up to date with Australian accounting requirements and changes to our industry

Skill Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience as a qualified accountant, ideally with BPO experience
  • Experience with Australian businesses
  • Experience using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
